Resume:Dr. Wang Lincong, senior research fellow, is currently the Assistant Director-general and the Director of International Relations Division of Institute of West Asian & African Studies(IWAAS), Chinese Academy of Social Sciences(CASS). He is professor of the department for Asian-African Studies at the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences supervising PhD program, Vice-President of the Chinese Association for Middle East Studies and Vice-Director of the Gulf Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
Born in 1965 in NingXia Province of China. B.A.degree (1985) in History in NingXia University , M.A.degree (1988) in History in YunNan University, and his Ph.D. degree.(2003) in History got from Graduate School, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
Being an associate Professor in NingXia University(from 1997 to 2000) and IWAAS, CASS(from 2003 to 2007), he is Professor in IWAAS, CASS from 2007 to the present, and served as a visiting scholar to the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies, Britain, from April 2008 to March 2009.
