Social Development Policies of China and South Africa

  1 Background and Significance

  The new era calls for the reform and perfection of social policy, because the development and perfection of social policy is an important means to realize people's yearning for a better life. Both China and South Africa have experienced a long evolutionary process of social policy, and have accumulated rich experience in the formulation, implementation and reform of social policy. The in-depth study of China's and South Africa's social policies is not only an important practical issue related to the well-being of the people of both countries and the world, but also a major theoretical issue related to the reform and development of the two countries.

  2 Basic train of thought, methods

  This study combines qualitative research with quantitative research to analyze the social development policies of China and South Africa from the perspective of sociology, management, policy and other interdisciplinary research. The specific ideas are as follows:

  Firstly, through text analysis and literature search, the social development policies of China and South Africa are sorted out to provide theoretical basis for data validation, while systematizing the fragmented cultural data and documents.

  Secondly, the first-hand data of social development policies are obtained from the main official institutions and think tanks of China and South Africa, and the social development policies of China and South Africa are analyzed by means of comparative research.

  Thirdly, cooperate with South Africa, conduct field investigations, collect first-hand perceptual and empirical data, conduct analysis, and hold seminars for discussion.

  Fourthly, according to the division of work, we should compile research reports and organize publishing work.
