IWAAS Researcher Paid a Research Visit to Ethiopia

　　Funded by the advanced research project of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), “African Religious Culture”, Dr. Zhou Yanjin paid a research visit to Ethiopia from November 20 to December 1, 2018, focusing on the current situation there and the recent developments of China-Ethiopia relations. Dr. Zhou conducted interviews with officials of Ethiopian Investment Agency, scholars from think tanks and universities, ordinary citizens, college students and Chinese diplomats to Ethiopia, and attended the seminar on “Industrialization in Sub-Saharan Africa” which was co-organized by the International Finance Corporation of World Bank and the Institute of New Structural Economics of Peking University.
