IWAAS Went to Sierra Leone for Research

　　From October 11 to December 10, 2018, Zhan Shiming did research in Sierra Leone. His main task was to collect materials for the writing work of Guide to the World States: Sierra Leone.  Throughout two months, Zhan Shiming visited the Chinese embassy, the Economic and Commercial Office, the Medical Team, the Expert Group of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the Confucius Institutes and more than 20 Chinese enterprises in Sierra Leone.  Meanwhile, Zhan Shiming also developed his research in the related government departments of Sierra Leone, the Media, the colleges and universities and NGOs.  Through the research, Zhan Shiming not only collected a large number of valuable data and established contacts with Chinese institutions and enterprises in Sierra Leone, but also had an in-depth understanding of Sierra Leone's natural environment and local conditions, which laid a solid foundation for his further research.
